Job opening:
Online Marketing Manager

Hi there! We’re Driversnote, a small SaaS company based in the heart of the Copenhagen startup scene. We take pride in helping more than 500.000 users worldwide keep a mileage log book. No one likes to do mileage documentation - so our mission is to remove this trivial work and make our customers’ work life easier while saving them time and money.

We’re bootstrapped, profitable and currently growing our team, so you’ll be an essential part of a small company at a very exciting stage.

The opportunity

We’re full speed ahead building out our service across different countries. We have a lot of work ahead of us and are therefore in need of an experienced online marketer.

It’s a great opportunity for someone who wants to improve their skills, professional & personal, in an environment with enough data to learn quickly and colleagues with a lot of experience.

As a team we believe in collaboration, rapid iterations, experimentation, and a genuine interest in understanding and helping our customers.

The role

You’ll take part in growing Driversnote, but exactly how you accomplish this will depend on how you bring your unique set of skills to bear.

You recognize yourself in one of these descriptions:

You’re a performance marketer. You’ve worked with paid ads of different kinds, and you’re used to reporting on results and testing new approaches. You communicate clearly and you have at least one secondary specialty/interest besides paid marketing.

You’re an SEO specialist. You have acquired website visitors by making webpages and/or product listings rank for content that you created and optimized over time. You write well, and you’ve worked with more than one type of search engine optimization, for instance also App Stores or Amazon product listings.

You’re something that doesn’t quite fit the above, but you have several years of marketing experience and you believe you can help. Do not hesitate to get in touch and tell us how!

Generally, our happy customers find us through some sort of search (Google, App Store, etc.), and a large part of our growth will continue to come from acquisition of more users through both organic and paid channels. However, growth can also come from optimization of the rest of the funnel, and over the next few years we will need to work holistically as well as with CRO specifically. You should see yourself being able to help with some of this.

Your responsibilities:

  • Make Driversnote grow. There, that’s the main thing. If you can manage that in a scalable way, we’ll be golden!
  • Organic Search Marketing (ASO & SEO): From keyword analysis, setting and following up on targets, to planning and executing.
  • Set up and optimize online advertising campaigns (Apple Search Ads, Google AdWords, Facebook Ads, Amazon ads, etc.).
  • Run experiments, analyse data and research to develop insights that reveal growth opportunities.
  • Work with the rest of the team to drive user activation and retention by improving the customer journey, implementing email campaigns, in-app notifications etc.

You probably won’t have time to do all of this, nor are you a specialist in all of this, which is why you’ll be flanked by our Head of Marketing, Thomas.

You must:

  • Have 2+ years experience with hands-on organic search marketing (SEO or ASO), paid search and/or social media advertising, and during those years have produced publish-ready creatives and content.
  • Be fluent in English and have excellent communication/writing skills; you get a message across in just a few sentences.
  • Be able to work from our office in Copenhagen.
  • Be structured and committed to an analytical, metrics-driven approach.
  • Know your way around keyword research, analytics, A/B, and multivariate testing.
  • Like the thought of joining a young, dedicated team with a very flat hierarchy.

Additionally, we would love if you:

  • Have a bit of B2B experience.
  • Are experienced with marketing automation, incl. email marketing.
  • Know a bit of HTML/CSS.

We offer

A lot of responsibility, influence and trust. As with everyone else in the company, you’ll be a key player as we develop marketing channels, product & team.

You’ll get to work with and learn from a team of highly experienced entrepreneurs and tech people. We’ll set aside resources (time and money both) for independent skill development to help you grow and develop your career.

We work in a relaxed environment in Matrikel1, a community co-working space for entrepreneurs and tech startups located in the very heart of Copenhagen. You get to network with other startups and scaleups and plenty of cool, like-minded people.

And finally, we offer a great lunch cooked by Matrikel1’s in-house chefs every day.
